MyPublisher was offering a free photobook to those interested in putting one together this month. All you had to do is pay for the shipping and handling. It took me a few weeks to decide whether to just make a collection of photos of things we enjoyed in 2011 or to go to the trouble of typing up another recipe book.
Yesterday I was satisfied enough with the photos and recipes that I collected, and I sent off my order.
This morning I got the following email:
Congratulations! Your recent creation and photos (order M2667653) have been selected by MyPublisher’s distinguished photo editor, Karen Mullarkey, for potential publication on our website. Because Karen feels your design and your photos are such beautiful examples of customer-created memories, we hope to feature them on our website to help inspire other customers as they create their own projects.
Karen is one of the world’s leading photo editors. She has had a long and illustrious career as an award-winning photo editor of such major magazines as Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Look and Sports Illustrated. She also has been photo editor for more than 70 internationally recognized books.
If you approve your creation and your photos may be published for general viewing on the MyPublisher website. Additionally, your creation and your photos may be selected for publication on MyPublisher’s Facebook page and/or in promotional materials.
Please let me know if you’d like to be one of our featured picks by replying to this email indicating one of the choices below:
Yes, I give MyPublisher permission to use my order and photos for the aforementioned purposes.
No, please do not use my order or pictures.
We’d love to have you included! I look forward to hearing from you soon. Congratulations, again!
