Second Sundays

The second Sunday of each month, the people in the church are invited to stay all afternoon. The idea is to share your lunch with somebody else, then either have a discussion or watch a video of R.C. Sproul talking about holiness.

Usually, I don’t invite anyone, because there are so many people using the little kitchen that it is difficult to pull anything interesting off. I’ve even just brought sandwiches and chips so that I didn’t have to contribute to the traffic.

This month, however, some of our friends/students are moving to Australia. Tomorrow is their last Sunday before flying to the other side of the globe, so Joel invited them to share our lunch.

This is part of what I decided to serve. I can just throw it into the oven and step back out of the whirlwind…I hope.

Canelloni

seasoned and browned ground beef
requeson (similar to cottage cheese, but dry like ricotta)
1 egg
canelloni pasta
tomato pasta sauce
parmesean cheese
