The container of ricotta cheese beckoned to me this morning. There was plenty of the parmesean-ricotta-egg mixture left over after I had made 13 raviolis, so I decided to roll out another batch of pasta and try my hand at lasagna. I did blend up my own tomato sauce, but I just used regular hamburger instead of spicy Italian sausage.
Every thing turned out fine. As Joel put it, "Good, but no cigar. Maybe it needs to sit on itself for a bit". We’ll see: he only had two helpings and then a sliver more for lunch today.
