My husband was pleased to inform me that the British Council library has a cookbook that I may be interested in. Apparently, one of the other teachers at International House checked it out and was asking where she might be able to find horseradish. A particular dish that Joel remembered was mentioned yesterday had something to do with "squeakers". I Googled "squeakers" and "Welsh" and didn’t find much. Finally, I came across this recipe for "Bubble & Squeak". He also asked if I would be able to make Spotted Dick here, but after reviewing the ingredients, I’m not sure that I want to try to figure out where/how to get suet.
