Because I expected to return home later than the time my husband might want to eat, I left potato salad and ingredients to prepare hamburgers in the refrigerator. When I walked in the door, Joel had already eaten, but offered to make the same thing for me (minus the potato salad).
The vegetables have a dressing of balsamic vinegar mixed with about 1/2 t of green sauce (jalapeno, cilantro, onion). I had steamed them a few days ago, so that we can use them in various ways this week.
Joel tells me that the onions are cooked on the griddle, but to the side of the flame. He used teriyaki sauce for them.
The salt? Ummm…to taste.
