Curried Cabbage

Kihn Do was a disappointment the last time we drove to Uptown for a meal. Although the deep-fried egg rolls were as good as ever, the chicken curry was not. The quality of meat had gone down. Nevertheless, the trip was not without its benefit. I recalled that the restaurant uses cabbage rather than bean sprouts or another vegetable in their chicken curry and took that approach when I made this evening’s meal.

  • chicken breast
  • butter
  • onion
  • cabbage
  • garlic
  • chicken broth
  • coconut milk
  • golden curry powder
  • soy sauce
  • peanuts
  • shredded coconut
  • raisins
  • Jasmine rice
