Since I can never seem to remember exactly
how to put together our version of Lisa’s New England Grinder broiled sandwiches,
I took a picture of the one Joel made for me on Monday night.
Fresh tomato with onion slices and cheese on one side
and pepperoni and more cheese on the other side with fresh basil…
Shredded lettuce and chopped yellow salad peppers drizzled with olive oil
and sprinkled with vinegar, salt, pepper and parmesean
gets sandwiched between the two halves after you broil them.
