Buckeyes

While singing the Spanish hymn tune with words, "Come Christians Join to Sing", at church yesterday morning, I was reminded of OSU’s alma mater….alleluia, O-HI-O!
Tonight, most of my family members and some of my friends from high school, no doubt, will have their eyes glued to the television screen. Football is probably the most popular of the sports that Ohio State University plays. The team plays against Florida at the bowl championship game in Arizona (I guess. I had to look it up on the internet!).

Here is the recipe for No Bake Buckeye Candies from my mom:

1 c. Peanut butter
1 stick margarine
2 1/4 c. conf. sugar
Blend together. Form balls. Refreigerate until cold (1/2 hr.)
Melt 12 oz. pkg. choc. chips with 1/2 bar parafin in a double boiler to keep it hot at all times. Insert toothpick into cold ball, & dip. Place on wax paper & refrigerate.
These can be frozen.
