April Showers

The Lord has blessed us with so much.
He gives us more than we can ask or imagine.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
Sundays would be just as easily spent on those things and thoughts that clutter our lives.
I certainly am not consistent in how to spend the day. But for this afternoon, I’ve managed to let the lunch dishes sit in the sink and on the stovetop and resisted the urge to sweep the kitchen floor.
Pastor’s message this evening, "Blessed are the Hurting", is to be on Matthew 5:4. I thought it might be helpful to finish the last chapter of John Piper’s book, When I Don’t Desire God. This chapter is concerning times when Christians don’t find joy. You can find the book online at Desiring God Ministries.
