Craig Hartman from Shalom Ministries of NYC led our church in an abbreviated version of a Passover dinner last night. I enjoyed it thoroughly. He is a humorous fellow, BUT what he presented to us was also serious. I haven’t taken as much time to reflect and research much yet, so I won’t pretend to be any sort of expert in this area. However, I will encourage you to become familiar with some Biblical Jewish traditions. If you investigate the symbolism, etc. of the Passover meal, I think that your understanding and appreciation of communion will increase dramatically. What is Paul talking about? Do you really grasp all that the Last Supper really was? What were Jesus and the disciples do in the upper room?
